Connect Gemini to WordPress

Add MoraWP to Gemini as a custom Connected App, approve the websites it can reach, and type @MoraWP to put Gemini to work on WordPress.

Set up in three steps.

Works in the Gemini web app, and the Gemini mobile app once added. First, connect your WordPress website in MoraWP; it takes a minute.

  1. 01

    Add a custom Connected App

On gemini.google.com, open Settings → Connected Apps and choose + Custom. Enter this MCP Server URL. No client ID or secret is needed.

    https://mcp.morawp.com/mcp
  2. 02

    Sign in and approve

Follow the browser sign-in, pick the workspace and the websites, and approve. MoraWP then appears in Connected Apps as @MoraWP.

  3. 03

    Use it in a chat

Type @MoraWP in a new conversation and ask Gemini to list your websites.

Google currently offers custom Connected Apps to personal accounts in the US, for people 18 or over, with Gemini in English.

What you can ask Gemini.

Plain requests, on any WordPress website you connected, with any plugin it runs.

  • Write a blog post about our spring sale and save it as a draft.
  • Find the pages with no SEO description and write one for each.
  • Put the winter jackets on sale, 20% off, until Sunday.
  • Which plugins have updates waiting?

Safe by default.

Gemini works only where you allow it. How MoraWP keeps you in control

  • Only the websites you choose

You pick the workspace and the websites when you approve. Everything else stays out of reach.

  • Big changes ask first

Updates, deleting, and code wait for your yes. See exactly what will run, then approve it once or for 30 minutes.

  • Every action on record

Each request lands in your activity with the agent, the website, and how it went. Remove the agent any time.
